Fifty & Unfolding

Unfolding, unfiltered, unapologetic.

Welcome to My Thoughts

This space isn’t polished. It’s not curated to be neat, inspirational, or impressive. It’s real — shaped by fifty years of living between cultures, between expectations, between identities.

I’m a British Indian woman — Punjabi roots, British upbringing, and a heart that has often struggled to find home in either. I’ve spent too long silencing my thoughts for the sake of peace, pride, or just not wanting to explain myself again.

But silence takes a toll.

So here I am — unfiltered, a little uncertain, but honest. This blog is where I lay down what I’ve carried for years: the contradictions, the guilt, the grief, the freedom, the fear, and the stubborn joy that refused to disappear, even when everything else felt like it did.

I’m not here to teach or advise. Just to tell the truth — mine.

If any part of it speaks to you, you’re welcome to stay. And if not, that’s okay too.

These are just my thoughts. But they’re finally mine to share.

About me

This blog is about those quiet struggles no one prepares you for. It's for the women who didn't tick all the boxes.

It's for anyone who's lived a life that didn't please others - but still lived.
